Sara Fulmer is an Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology, Counseling, and Special Education at SUNY Oneonta.

Her primary research interests are in achievement motivation and the contextual and instructional factors that can support or undermine students’ motivation. More specific interests include the impact of challenge on students’ interest, affect, and persistence, and developmental changes in students’ conception of and beliefs about academic challenge.
